Toyota presented a brutal SUV called Toyota Hilux GR Sport II. Sales will start in the first half of 2024, and deliveries will begin in the second.
The new Toyota Hilux Double Cab features improved handling and stability, the highest payload capacity in its class (1000 kg) and the ability to tow a trailer weighing up to 3500 kg, as well as a larger wheel track - 140 mm at the front and 155 mm at the rear compared to the usual Toyota Hilux.
Toyota claims it is "the best version of the Hilux for on- and off-road driving thanks to wider tread and significant improvements in handling characteristics, such as increased vehicle stability through reduced roll angle and precise steering response." Optimized handling, reduced noise, and improvements to the suspension and brakes are also announced.
The powerful and proven 2.8-litre engine introduced to the Hilux range in 2020 produces 204bhp. and torque 500 Nm. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Toyota Hilux GR Sport II features new 17-inch wheels, red brake discs, black painted wheel arch trims, a black mesh grille with the classic Toyota logo, and side skirts, mirrors, door handles and rear bumper also painted in black color.
