Since September 1, BMW has expanded the product range of the British Mini brand with two new models - the Cooper EV and the Countryman EV crossover.
Both models have been completely redesigned and feature electric-only powertrains.
The Cooper EV has a unique shape as the company's designers tried to take the signature Mini look in a new, modern way. In the cabin there is a 9.4-inch media system display mounted on top of the front panel, made in the form of a circle.
The standard Cooper E is equipped with an electric motor producing 184 hp. and a traction battery with a capacity of 40.7 kWh.
The new Mini will be produced in China for various countries around the world. Prices in Germany are expected to start at €32,900, with deliveries scheduled for spring 2024.
The Countryman EV crossover is believed to be the first Mini made in Germany. The start of sales of the electric car in the European Union is expected in April 2024.
