Ford showed the charged Mustang GTD sports coupe. According to the brand's press service, the engineering company Multimatic, which is known for its Ford racing projects, worked on the car.

The main feature of the new special version was improved aerodynamics, achieved through the use of a new hood, wings and sports body kit. At the same time, the company has provided an optional package of adjustable aerodynamic elements that work together with the active wing.

At the same time, the car’s body was greatly lightened, the rear seat was removed, and a transmission cooling system was installed instead of the trunk. Already in the base, the car is equipped with 20-inch wheels, wide tires and carbon-ceramic brakes.

The Ford Mustang GTD is equipped with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 that produces “at least 800 hp.” and is combined with an eight-speed robotic gearbox. At the same time, a special Variable Traction Control system will allow you to adjust engine power in real time.

The car will be produced in limited edition at a price of $300 thousand each. Sales will begin at the end of 2024 or at the beginning of 2025.
