On May 3-4, the development of international transportation and transport and transit corridors will be discussed in Ashgabat as part of an international conference and exhibition organized by the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen Forum company.

The Conference "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Connectivity and Development" (ITTC 2023) aims to unlock the continent's transit opportunities and connect the North-South and West-East corridors with China's Belt and Road Initiative.

High-ranking officials of Turkmenistan and international companies will take part in the conference. During the meetings, a record number of participants and the signing of agreements and memorandums are expected. Such international giants as Airbus, Boeing, Cargo Lux, Fly Dubai, Vitol, Dragon Oil and others will take part in the work.

In addition, representatives of the International Air Transport Association, the International Chamber of Shipping, the UN International Road Transport Union and such international financial institutions as the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank will arrive in Turkmenistan.
