The Japanese company Toyota announced the creation of a powerful battery for electric vehicles, reports the Financial Times.

According to representatives of the corporation, they have made progress in developing batteries for electric vehicles. According to the company's engineers, the new technology will allow them to produce a solid-state battery with a power reserve of 1,200 kilometers.

Also, according to the message, the new battery will have a record charging speed. The battery will charge to 100 percent in 10 minutes. Production of new batteries for electric vehicles is planned to begin in 2027.
