Recently, the representatives of the transport system of the country discussed the problems of increasing the volume of multimodal transit cargo transportation in the building of the "Turkmenavtoulaglary" agency.

As reported on the website of "Turkmen Logistics" Association, the participants of the meeting were informed about the terms of concessions provided by the state enterprise "Turkmenulaggözegchilik" when goods are brought to Turkmenistan from third countries and when goods are loaded onto vehicles within the territory of Turkmenistan, when documents on the value of goods and permits for the transportation of goods are issued to the owners of trucks.

This measure was carried out in order to actively use the opportunities of railway stations and loading areas at the checkpoints on the State border of Turkmenistan, as well as the previous reduction of fees collected from foreign vehicles entering the railway stations or loading areas of Turkmenistan.

The participants of the meeting also visited the private cargo area built by the Association member companies - "Halkara Turkmen Logistik" Hojalyk Jemgietie near the "Artyk" customs point of Ahal province. The recently opened 7.5-hectare terminal includes truck stops, rail yards, warehouses, office buildings and other buildings.

"Halkara Turkmen Logistik" HJ has its own cargo areas at the border crossings in Sarahs and at Turkmenbashi International Sea Port.
