The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, at the meeting dedicated to the results of the three months of this year, paid special attention to the need to carry out the necessary work on the reconstruction of internal railways and the modernization of material and technical equipment.

The Turkmen leader instructed M. Chakiyev, CEO of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, to study the international experience of building an electrified railway system and prepare proposals for implementing these works in Turkmenistan.

In this regard, the importance of hiring experienced foreign experts in this field, if necessary, was emphasized.
