Turkmenistan became one of the three leaders of the main suppliers of gasoline to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the State Committee of Uzbekistan on Statistics.

The data is based on information for January-August 2021. During this period, Uzbekistan imported 281.6 million liters of motor gasoline in the amount of US $ 100 million.

The import of gasoline increased 3.2 times compared to the corresponding period of 2020, the department reports.

It is reported that Turkmenistan supplied 121 million liters of automotive fuel to Uzbekistan.

The main countries from which Uzbekistan imported motor gasoline:

• Russia - 139 million liters
• Turkmenistan - 121 million liters
• Kazakhstan - 16 million liters
• Iraq - 3.6 million liters
