Lubricants provide effective protection of rubbing surfaces from wear under various loads at moderate temperatures. The greases have good pumpability and are used for medium-speed bearings at temperatures up to 70 C. Greases of types 2 and 3, which have an increased consistency, are used in industry, agricultural and road machines. Type 1 grease is used in plain bearings and joints on road and construction machines.
