Today, on May 24, the XXII international universal exhibition "The White City of Ashgabat" began its work at the Expocenter of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

Members of the government, deputies of parliament, heads and representatives of ministries and departments, public organizations, diplomats and businessmen, mass media took part in the solemn opening ceremony of the exhibition, timed to coincide with the celebration of the Ashgabat City Day.

More than 100 domestic and foreign companies, state institutions and enterprises, representatives of the private sector take part in this already traditional review.

Visitors to the exhibition will get acquainted with the present day and prospects for the development of the Turkmen capital. Stands of various sectors of the national economy are deployed here, primarily construction and architecture, energy, processing and light industry, design and everything necessary for arranging the life of the city.

Large-scale exhibition pavilions tell about the achievements of Ashgabat, long-term urban development plans, management systems and digital solutions, engineering, transport, communications, and social infrastructure. An important place in the exposition is given to the solution of environmental issues and the activities of public utilities, as well as tourism.
