On March 30, Minsk, Republic of Belarus hosted the International Conference of the Belarusian Railways “2023. Railway Logistics: Actual Tasks of Development”. A delegation from Turkmenistan took part in it.

The international conference is organized by the Belarusian Railway with the support of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus. The slogan of the event "Joining Efforts - Towards Common Success" defines the most relevant points of growth - export, customer focus, and the provision of a comprehensive high-quality service.

The international transport and logistics conference brought together more than 160 participants from 6 countries. Among them are the leadership of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade and the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus, the management and representatives of the railways of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, representatives of leading logistics and forwarding companies and China.

During the conference, its participants discussed the prospects for freight rail transportation within the framework of the international transport corridors "West-East" and "North-South", new directions for increasing the transport and transit potential of railways.

At the end of the international conference, mutual business meetings were held between the logistics companies of the respective countries.
