Volkswagen has unveiled updated versions of the popular Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport crossovers for the 2024 model year. The first model until recently was sold under the Volkswagen Terramont brand.
Салон кроссоверов был значительно переработан с использованием более качественных материалов и современных технологий. Обе машины будут предлагаться с новой светодиодной полосой и светящимся значком VW.
Leatherette upholstery is now standard, while quilted leather trim is available on older versions. Ventilated seat surfaces are also standard, along with three-zone climate control. The dashboard houses a new standard 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro display and a 12-inch infotainment display.
Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go is now also standard on the IQ Drive suite of driver assistance technologies. Adaptive Cruise Control is very useful and convenient in conditions where you need to make frequent stops and start again. The Stop & Go function will apply the brakes and bring the vehicle to a complete stop if the vehicle in front comes to a stop, then automatically start moving if it takes less than two/three seconds to stop.
The new Atlas are based on the same platform as the current models but replace the current four-cylinder and V6 engines with a single new 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that promises a better balance of performance and economy. The new engine produces 269 hp. and 370 Nm of torque.
