Carburetor Cleaner is a highly effective carburetor cleaner that works without disassembling the carburetor. It quickly, gently, and effectively cleans throttle and air valves, diffusers, jets, and all other accessible internal and external surfaces of carburetors. Suitable for all two- and four-stroke gasoline engines, with or without catalytic converters.

Properties:
– A blend of highly effective organic solvents. Does not contain acetone;
– Completely dissolves and removes all typical carburetor contaminants of various origins;
– Does not clog engine components located downstream of the carburetor: valves, combustion chamber, etc.;
– Stabilizes idle speed, facilitates cold starts, and improves engine throttle response;

– Optimizes the operation of the intake system by cleaning and lubricating its moving parts;
– Contains substances that are aggressive to paintwork and plastics;
– Reduces fuel consumption (up to 5%) and exhaust emissions;
– Suitable for cleaning sealless motorcycle chains, timing chains, clutch components, oil pumps, gears, crankshafts, and other unpainted metal components and engine parts.

Directions: Turn off the engine and remove the air filter. You must gain direct access to the throttle body. Spray the product onto all accessible internal surfaces of the carburetor, and also onto the external surfaces if necessary. Let them dry. Reinstall the air filter. It is recommended to replace it at this time. Start the engine and let it run at medium speed; this should be sufficient to start driving. You can also idle the engine for 20 seconds at 2000 rpm to allow any remaining contaminants in the fuel injection system to burn off.

If the engine allows it, i.e., it can maintain a stable RPM with the air intake disconnected, you can clean it with the engine running. If this is not possible, contact a service center for assistance. Sometimes, disconnecting the air flow meter is sufficient. The cleaning process is significantly more intense with the engine running. Avoid contact with the air flow meter or painted parts.
