The packaging is designed for an oil system volume of up to 5 liters. On cars with a mileage of more than 100 thousand km and to ensure maximum efficiency and safety during the procedure, LAVR specialists recommend replacing the oil filter with a new one.
- Make sure that the engine oil level in the system corresponds to the mark between min and max on the oil dipstick, if necessary, bring the level up to the norm
- Select the dosage based on the volume of the oil system and the recommended proportions: 35 ml of the composition per 1 liter of engine oil.
- Warm up the engine to operating temperature (+85 – +90°C), turn off the engine and pour the composition into the used engine oil in accordance with the dosage through the oil filler neck using a syringe with a tube.
- Start the engine. Let it idle for 30 minutes, periodically gradually increasing the speed to 2 - 2.5 thousand rpm.
- After the procedure, drain the used oil, fill in new oil and replace the oil filter, regardless of whether a new filter was installed before the flushing procedure. IMPORTANT! After completing the procedure, minimize the time until the oil change. For an internal combustion engine with a painted oil pan, it is necessary to ensure that the paint coating is intact. In cases where its integrity is compromised or paint particles get onto the surface of the oil receiver mesh, mechanical cleaning must be carried out. Be sure to start the engine and let it idle for 10 minutes.
